Quickbooks Question How To Post ProperlyThat is greed and robbery, in my opinion. The cost increase to go from QB Premier Plus to QB Online is $3,700 MORE per year, that's even if we updated QB Desktop every year, which we typically don't. We have a similar situation where we have multiple divisions that our accounting person prefers to keep as separate EIN to keep things clean. I informed him, yes, I'm aware of what being an online service means, but. He pointed out that QBO is accessible for anywhere, because it's online. Surely Intuit wouldn't be trying to charge us over 800% more for the same functionality?!! The person I was chatting with had left reality. But I cannot think of one that is actually gouging us over 800% cost increase in the process!?I was chatting with Intuit Sales about this, because I thought that maybe I was looking at things incorrectly. ![]() It's odd that they push it so hard you cannot have a conversation on the phone with Intuit about buying any of the desktop products without getting a sales pitch for QBO. I'm with you, though, that the intended audience for the QBO is not us. But to GOUGE us with over 800% more cost?!! That is insulting. If anyone has any info about how QuickBooks Mac compares to QuickBooks PC, I would definitely be interested.* Online capability is actually NO increase in value from our perspective, since the accountant sits at a desktop in the same office, whether using an online version of a desktop version.I think the Intuit response to Doc75, while a little off-topic, was nevertheless in response to his musings about the online version. I would even have been willing to pay 200% cost increase. I don't even mind paying more for it. QuickBooks Online SHOULD HAVE been a no-brainer solution. How to connect a ps4 controller to mac for ps2 emulatorI've been trying to get certain things fixed for about a decade, and nothing ever really changes. The Mac version is just not the truly professional product that the Windows version is. There is no Mac version with "feature parity" with the Windows version. I'd suggest keeping it that way. Even if you're an all-Mac shop, except for that PC running Quickbooks. ![]() ![]()
